I have a raw customer-level dataset sitting in Excel and I need a sharp set of descriptive statistics pulled together quickly. The scope is focused: calculate the mean and median for the relevant numerical fields and build clear frequency distributions for the categorical columns. Once the calculations are complete, roll everything into a concise written summary report that highlights the key patterns you notice—no bulky spreadsheets or dashboards, just a clean narrative with supporting tables copied in from Excel where helpful.
You’re welcome to work entirely inside Microsoft Excel (or an equivalent such as Google Sheets, as long as formulas remain visible) for the computations. I’ll provide the file, a short data dictionary, and clarify which columns fall into each group. Final hand-off will be:
• A polished summary report (Word, PDF, or Google Doc) containing:
– Mean and median values for each specified numeric field
– Frequency tables for each specified categorical field
– A brief interpretation paragraph for every section so the numbers are put into context
