For our Bali-based client, who is originally from the UK, we are seeking a Digital Asset Research Analyst for their Digital Asset Hedge Fund.
The client has a background as the COO of a commodities hedge fund and is currently also COO of a carbon trading company.
The successful candidate will work for the Digital Asset Hedge Fund that invests capital from its private investors to generate alpha.
As a research analyst, you should have a strong background in finance, as well as a strong interest in digital assets.
● Part Time (will grow into full time)
● Remote job (Singapore time zone)
Responsibilities
● Conduct in-depth research in the digital asset space, including fundamental analysis of crypto projects and macroeconomics.
● Utilize data to create and maintain detailed spreadsheets, incorporating information from on-chain data providers.
● Research and report on specific projects within designated sectors of the digital asset space, such as AI tokens.
● Analyze protocols, understand their implications, and develop investment theses.
● Stay updated with market developments and regulations, including analyzing legal documentation like lawsuits to assess market impact.
● Collaborate with team members to generate insights and support decision-making processes.
● Assist the Chief Investment Officer in the day-to-day operations of the Hedge Fund.
Requirements
● Minimum of 3+ years experience working in Finance & Business
● Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Agile and adaptable, capable of managing diverse tasks in a dynamic environment.
● Ideally possesses an MBA, Financial degree or equivalent business-related degree, reflecting business acumen and strategic thinking.
● Strong interest in cryptocurrencies and digital assets in general.
● Strong research and data background.
● Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to juggle multiple projects concurrently.
● Strong Excel skills If you are an agile, business-minded
