Quantitative Stock Analysis

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine quantitative models for stock analysis and option trading strategies.
- Conduct rigorous back-testing of trading strategies to ensure effectiveness and adaptability to different market conditions.
- Analyze market data, economic indicators, and financial information to predict stock price movements.
Implement machine learning algorithms to enhance the predictive accuracy of trading models.
- Collaborate with the trading team to apply quantitative analysis methods to our stock option trading strategy, focusing on risk management and capital allocation.
- Monitor and manage trading positions, including the use of protective puts, covered calls, credit spreads, and iron condors.
- Stay abreast of market trends and developments that could impact our trading strategies.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on research findings, trading strategy performance, and market analysis for internal use.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in quantitative analysis or trading in a financial institution, with a strong preference for expertise in options trading.
- Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB) for developing quantitative models and conducting statistical analysis.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and their application in financial markets.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effectively conveying complex quantitative concepts.
