Bid Offer Analysis through Machine Learning
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I'm looking for a data scientist or machine learning expert to help me analyze historical bid data to identify patterns. The ultimate goal is to better understand our bidding environment and improve our strategies.
• Description
We have bid offer books of a product. Your job, is to model the bid offer “channel” using various data. We will provide the snapshot of the bid offer on a 60 second basis (I can make it realtime or every few seconds if you need it). Your model will learn from previous history and predict the future.
When certain signal arrives, your model will trigger a buy or sell order, which will buy at the market price. Subsequently your model will put the offer on the market. Your have to figure out when and at what price to put the offer to maximise the price. Then close the trade.
For example, we have a stack $38 / $40, your model sends signal to buy at $40, and subsequently because of the signal everyone buys, the stack has gone to $45 / $50. Your model then close the trade.
Caveat: There is a bid offer spread, e.g. $38 / $40, and if you keep buying at $40, and sell at $38, you lose. Hence you cannot just keep firing signal all the time.
Your trained model will be use to work on future data. Your will be paid only if you successful build a model that sell higher than the buy price or buy below the sell (short) price.
• Bidding
Your bid is my budget. If you deliberately put in a low bid to attract me to speak to you, you either revise your bid, or I will ignore you.
• Delivery
We need the source code and will integrate your program into a much larger one. You will be paid once you finish all the work and it works on my machine. We will also attack your program, as it has to be secure and reliable without loopholes. It has to be bug-free.
• Platform
Your code has to work on Windows.
• Workplace
You will be working online remotely.
• Experience
Please show us your detailed related work experience and portfolio. Without similar experience, you are unlikely to be awarded, as you may not finish the project anyway.
• IP
The intellectual property, including the source code, belongs to Sors Markets Ltd.
• Interview
We may interview you to see if you can work on the project.
• Demo
We will need to do a demo on Freelancer. If you have any questions, please send us a message.
• Further work
More work may need to be awarded to the winner.
