Chennai Startup Legal Advisor Needed
Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR
I’m setting up a new startup in Chennai and need a lawyer who truly understands startup law to stay by my side from day one. At this stage I’m looking for a long-term relationship rather than a one-off engagement, so cost-effective ongoing support is important.
Your core focus will be advisory and consultancy as questions come up—everything from picking the right entity structure to explaining local regulatory hurdles—and preparing the documents that turn those decisions into reality. Typical paperwork will include incorporation filings, founder and shareholder agreements, NDAs, early employee or contractor contracts, and any other templates a young company relies on.
Because the business is local, I’d like someone who can occasionally meet in or around Chennai, though most work can be handled online. Quick turn-around on questions is key; a reply within one business day would be ideal as things move fast at this stage.
Deliverables I expect upfront:
• All incorporation and registration documents ready to file
• A set of tailored template agreements (founder, employment/consultant, vendor, NDA)
• A concise compliance checklist for the first year of operations
After that, we’ll continue on a monthly retainer for on-call advice and periodic document updates as the company grows.
