We’re building a Shopify-based business that transforms customer photos into custom black-and-white coloring pages. We are looking for an experienced AI developer or ML engineer to help us create a proprietary image-to-line-art model (or customized pipeline) that produces high-resolution, print-ready coloring pages from user-uploaded images.
Project Scope:
We’re looking for someone who can:
Develop or fine-tune a model that transforms images (people, pets, family photos) into clean, kid-friendly line art
Focus on black-and-white outlines only, suitable for printing or coloring digitally
Prioritize background removal, simplified edges, and stylistic control
Deliver a fast, API-accessible solution (via Flask/FastAPI or hosted on Replicate/HuggingFace/AWS Lambda, etc.)
Optional: Train or fine-tune using a custom dataset if needed
Your Skills:
Experience with Stable Diffusion, ControlNet, OpenCV, or PyTorch pipelines
Familiarity with SAM (Segment Anything Model), line extraction, or cartoonization techniques
Comfortable deploying to scalable cloud infrastructure (or guiding our team to do so)
Bonus: Experience with Shopify app integration or image handling APIs
