WordPress Migration to New AWS EC2 Instance

Project Description:
We're interested in an experienced AWS engineer to assist in migrating a WordPress website from an old EC2 instance to a newly configured EC2 instance. The scope includes setting up the new instance, configuring Elastic IP, SSL, domain routing, and optional SMTP/FTP/PHP setup. The freelancer should guide the process step-by-step with clear communication.
Scope of Work:
Check if all is OK with a newly setup EC2 Instance & WordPress website (already deployed)
Domain & SSL Migration
Disassociate the domain & SSL from the old EC2 instance.
Configure Elastic IP to point to the new instance.
Set up SSL (Let’s Encrypt or existing certificate) for the new instance.
Optional Configurations (If Needed)
Configure SMTP for WordPress email functionality and online forms are able to submit emails.
Set up FTP access like FileZilla client (already managed via PowerShell).
Verification & Handover
Ensure DNS propagation is correct.
Test WordPress functionality (HTTPS, admin access, plugins).
Provide documentation or walkthrough of changes made.
Freelancer Requirements:
Proven AWS experience (EC2, RDS, Elastic IP, SSL, Route 53).
Strong WordPress server administration skills.
Ability to explain steps clearly during implementation.
Estimated Duration: 2-4hrs
Preferred Communication: Screen-sharing sessions (Zoom/Teams) + chat updates.
