Resolve Python SSL Handshake Error
Budget: €12 – €18 EUR
I’m running Python on a Windows 11 machine and every attempt to reach external resources collapses with an SSL handshake error. The issue appears the moment I try to install anything—installation simply breaks because of the SSL failure—so no new packages can be pulled in through pip or other tooling.
cmd prints this error:
WARNING: Retrying (Retry(total=4, connect=None, read=None, redirect=None, status=None)) after connection broken by 'SSLError(SSLEOFError(8, '[SSL: UNEXPECTED_EOF_WHILE_READING] EOF occurred in violation of protocol (_ssl.c:1000)'))': /simple/certifi/
no VPN, private laptop, python 3.12.2
I need someone who can guide me to fix this
