IIS SSL Certificate Install & Test

Job ID: 39964086

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

My Windows server is ready for a brand-new SSL certificate but still needs the final configuration in IIS. The goal is simple: bind the certificate, open or confirm port 443, and prove the site is truly reachable from the public internet without any browser warnings. When that’s done, I also want the endpoint exercised through Postman to confirm clean TLS handshakes and successful API calls.

The certificate itself is already issued and waiting on the machine (though I’m happy for you to guide me through CSR generation if that streamlines things). No previous certificate exists on this host, so there’s nothing to replace or remove—this is purely a new installation.

You’ll connect via a remote-desktop session (AnyDesk or similar); direct server login details stay with me.

Deliverables
• Certificate installed and correctly bound to the intended IIS site
• HTTPS endpoint publicly accessible with a valid padlock in major browsers
• Postman collection or screenshots showing at least one successful GET/POST over TLS
• Short change log so I can repeat the steps at renewal time

If you can knock this out today, even better.
