AWS Standard SSL Installation
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
My website is running on an AWS instance and I’m ready to secure it with a Standard SSL certificate on the main domain only. I don’t yet have a Certificate Signing Request, so your first task will be to guide me through (or remotely handle) CSR generation that meets the requirements of my chosen certificate authority.
Once the CSR is in place and the certificate issued, I’ll need you to:
• Install and configure the Standard SSL on the current AWS setup (EC2 / Load Balancer / CloudFront—whichever we confirm during kickoff).
• Force all traffic from HTTP to HTTPS and verify there are no mixed-content issues.
• Run basic validation so the browser padlock shows clean across key pages.
Please plan to document the steps you take so future renewals are straightforward. If you have questions about the stack or need temporary access credentials, let me know when you place your bid.
