Squarespace Mobile Image Stack Adjustment

One gallery page on my Squarespace site (7.1) needs a quick mobile-only tweak. Right now the carousel looks great on desktop, but on phones each slide expands to the full height of the hero image above it. I simply want the carousel to disappear on small screens and have every shot flow in a clean vertical stack instead.

Here are the specifics you can rely on:

• Format: vertical stack only; no swipe or horizontal scroll
• Sizing: keep every image at the same displayed height while preserving its native aspect ratio—portrait files should not be forced to full-width stretch
• Content: no captions or overlays, just the images themselves
• Scope: one page, no other site areas touched; desktop experience must remain exactly as is

I’m comfortable with custom CSS or a small code-injection snippet as long as it’s tidy and easy for me to re-use later. Once done, I’ll verify the change on iOS Safari and Chrome Android. If everything stacks nicely and loads without shift or crop, the job is complete.
