Squarespace Domain & Email Overhaul

I’m rebranding and need a smooth technical hand-over so the change is invisible to visitors and clients. My site is built on Squarespace and I have full access to the registrar where both the current and the new domain sit—once we start I’ll share the new name.

Here’s what I’d like you to handle for me:

• Point the new domain to my existing Squarespace site, make it the primary address and keep the old one redirecting cleanly.
• Comb through the site and swap every mention of the old brand for the new name so copy, footers and SEO fields all match.
• Create a new email address on the new domain (same username as before), update any necessary MX and DNS records, and set the old address to forward indefinitely to the new inbox so nothing is lost.

I’d appreciate clear confirmation once DNS changes propagate, plus a brief note on anything I might need to renew or monitor later (SSL, forwarding rules, etc.). Experience with Squarespace settings, DNS zone files and mailbox migration is essential—ideally you’ve done this kind of rebrand switch before and can keep downtime to an absolute minimum.
