Squarespace Author Site Revamp

I have an existing Squarespace site for my work as an author and I’d like a fresh, professional upgrade rather than a ground-up rebuild. SEO isn’t part of the brief; the entire focus is on elevating the visitor experience.

Here’s what I want to see improved:
• Visual design – new colour palette that feels contemporary and on-brand, plus modern, readable typography across every page.
• Navigation – simplified menus and smart internal linking so readers can move effortlessly from book pages to blog posts to contact forms.
• Content layout – cleaner section breaks, balanced white space and eye-catching calls-to-action that work equally well on desktop, tablet and mobile.

You’re free to use Squarespace’s native tools or custom CSS where needed, as long as editing stays straightforward for me after hand-off. At the end I’d like:
1. The updated live site.
2. A short Loom walkthrough (or similar) showing where and how you adjusted styles, fonts and navigation settings so I can maintain it myself.
