Seamless Squarespace-to-WordPress Migration

My current Squarespace site —every page, blog post, and media file—has to live on WordPress without losing a single URL or the search equity that goes with it. The core of the brief is a like-for-like migration first, followed by light design refinement.

Scope of work
• Replicate the entire site in WordPress, matching the existing URL structure so organic rankings remain intact. When a one-to-one slug is impossible, set up 301s before launch so nothing breaks.
• Rebuild all pages, posts, categories, tags, alt text, meta titles, and descriptions.
• Advise on and install a lean set of recommended themes and plugins that cover SEO, performance, backups, and any functionality currently provided by Squarespace. No bloated bundles, please.
• Apply minor visual polish—simplify the navigation, refresh the colour palette, and tighten typography—while staying true to the overall look and feel. We will agree on each tweak before implementation.
• Launch on my chosen host, test responsiveness, page speed, forms, and schema, and hand over a clean, documented build.

Acceptance criteria
1. All legacy URLs resolve with a 200 status or a mapped 301 redirect.
2. Google Search Console shows zero crawl errors related to the migration.
3. Design updates are approved on staging before go-live.
4. WordPress admin is handed off with clear instructions and a minimal, well-organised plugin stack.
5. Integrate my same plugins (javascript) for booking system, quizzes and forms (with Zapier integrations)
