Resolve Squarespace SSL DNS
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
My Squarespace-hosted domain has SSL certificate errors. Visitors see security warnings, and some can't even access the site. The domain itself is registered right inside Squarespace, so everything should be straightforward—yet it still says the SSL Certificate is "unavailable"
What I need from you:
• Audit the existing Squarespace DNS records (A, AAAA, CNAME, and any legacy TXT entries) and identify whatever is blocking the automatic SSL/TLS provisioning.
• Adjust the records or SSL settings inside Squarespace to allow the platform to re-issue its certificate (or propose an alternate path if a manual certificate is required).
• Confirm propagation, then verify the site loads cleanly over HTTPS in all major browsers and returns an “A” rating on SSL Labs.
Acceptance criteria:
1. No certificate errors or browser security warnings.
2. www and root versions of the domain resolve to the live Squarespace site exclusively via HTTPS.
3. A concise hand-off note listing the final DNS record set and any settings touched.
Experience with Squarespace DNS, SSL/TLS, and troubleshooting certificate issuance on platform-managed domains is needed. Please send help.
