Finalize Freediving training site using Squarespace
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I’m a certified freediving instructor based in Australia. I specialize in freediving equalization and depth adaptation coaching. My main job is in marine biology, but I want to increase my coaching clientele. I already have a Squarespace account with an unfinished site. I’d like a professional who can take what I’ve started, polish the design, and turn it into a fully-functional hub where my students can interact and future divers can join our growing community.
Primary goal
The site must foster a sense of community around freediving while also making it effortless for people to book courses and training sessions.
What I need you to handle
• Course-booking flow
– Embed a clear calendar of available dates that I can update myself.
– Set up automated confirmation emails so students know instantly that their place is secured.
– Integrate a reliable payment gateway compatible with Squarespace commerce so bookings are paid in advance.
• Community-building areas
– Create a blog space where I can regularly post freediving tips, safety guidance, and stories from the reef.
– Showcase user testimonials in an attractive format to build trust.
– Add (or configure a plugin/app) for simple forums or discussion threads where divers can share experiences.
• Design polish & usability
– Refine the existing layout so the pages load quickly, imagery pops, and navigation feels intuitive on both desktop and mobile.
– Ensure brand consistency: ocean-inspired palette, clean typography, and plenty of breathing space.
• Social media lift
– Connect the site to my current Instagram and Facebook pages and display the latest posts on the homepage.
– Set up sharing buttons and basic SEO so blog content spreads effortlessly.
• Handover
– Provide a quick Loom or written guide showing me how to add new courses, publish posts, and moderate the forum.
The ideal outcome is a Squarespace site that converts visitors into booked students, keeps them engaged long after their course, and streamlines my admin workload so I can spend more time underwater. If you’ve worked with Squarespace booking tools, forum integrations, or dive-related brands before, I’d love to see examples.
