Domain Change & Squarespace Migration
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
My website is live on WordPress, but I’m re-branding under a new domain and want to rebuild everything in Squarespace at the same time. The job covers three main pieces of work:
1. Securely migrate all existing pages, posts, images and basic SEO settings from the current WordPress install to a new Squarespace site that you will set up under the new domain.
2. Refresh the look and feel during the move—new template, improved layout and typography—while keeping the core content structure recognizable to returning visitors.
3. Implement proper 301 redirects so every old URL resolves neatly to its counterpart on the new domain, preserving search equity and avoiding broken links.
Acceptance criteria
• New Squarespace site is live on the new domain with SSL enabled.
• All legacy WordPress content is present and properly formatted.
• Visual update is approved by me (I’ll give style guidance as we go).
• Redirects are verified with a crawl report and Google Search Console shows no critical errors.
You can work with Squarespace’s latest version, built-in SEO tools and minimal custom code where needed. Clear communication and a short video hand-off showing the Squarespace backend will complete the project.
