erp system not saving to ms sql database

I am having trouble with my ERP system not saving to my MS SQL database. I am using a vb.net system and I am not receiving any error messages when trying to save to the database. All operations within the system aren't saving to the database, which is proving to be a major issue. I need assistance fixing this problem as soon as possible, so any help would be much appreciated.
