Technical Windows Desktop Application Engineer Needed

I am looking for a enthusiastic, hard working individual who wants to learn 1 piece of software and troubleshoot this 1 piece of company software. This role requires someone with a technical support at at least a 1st line level, who knows there way around Windows server and basic SQL server commands like SELECT, FROM, WHO, WHERE. Ideally they will have a technical support background and enjoys problem solving. As part of the job, you will be given training material to understand the intricacies of this custom software and provide effective solutions to any issues that arise. The ideal candidate should have experience with troubleshooting software (e.g. event viewer, logs, task manager) and be able to grasp where the problem could be. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently are also essential.

Skills required:
- Proficiency in software troubleshooting
- Technical support background
- Problem-solving skills
- Experience in ticketing systems
- Experience remoting onto Windows Servers
- Experience in reading Windows event logs
- Basic SQL knowledge to query database entries

This contract will go on for a long time for the right candidate. I am looking for technical support person who is eager to learn and spend time to understand the software. This is a full time 7.5 hrs per day 37.5 hr per week contract working UK hours 8:30AM until 4:30PM with 30min break.
