Simple sofware for DB exploring
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a program that allows me to explore a single file database (DB) that's too big for me to open in excel. The DB file is 15 columns wide separated by the "|" character, i dont know how many lines long it is. The DB has no headings, they need to be added.
Some of the columns are "codified" as there is a numbre or letter instead of the word im lookinmg for so the program should be able to replace the code with an actual word, a table for decoding will be provided (annex).
The whole point of the DB explorer program is to be able to create sub-DB based on sorting values and adding filters, just like in excel. I also want to have the possibility to limit the number of output results.
This database is issued every 6 months, so the programme needs to be able to read the same structure on different files, changing the DB can be made manually.
