Simple database design project -- 2

I am attempting to design and implement a sample database on any topic. It should be non-trivial, but not huge. The project involves two parts: Logical Database Design and Implementation. You will be asked to list queries in English, add atomic transactions, state basic assumptions about the database, give the ER diagram and relational schema, give associated FDs and perform 3NF or BCNF decomposition, write queries in relational algebra and finally implement the database in MySQL.
