SQL table creation & Integration with ERp

We are a manufacturing company in Kingston Ontario. We have been using a view to calculate some run times for our custom products. the problem is that the view is extremely slow, and is effecting reporting. our goal is to have a table created that will update upon certain steps, so that the calculations are not running again every time we load a report.
