SQL XML Data Processing Script Modification
Budget: £10 – £20 GBP
I have a working SQL script which bulk uploads XML files to SQL server table. The script uses the OS parameters of the files but I need the script to be modified as follows:
1. One new column added to both data tables which stores values: date and time modified based on the file OS properties
2. Decides which files to be processed based on a certain date criteria i.e all files where date in the file name is equal or greater than yesterday’s date.
3. The script should also check to see if the file has or hasn’t been processed before and should behave accordingly
The current working script which I will share only appends all the files from the source folder into the base table but I need the script to be modified so that extra criteria is implemented above. I have attached further details including a flowchart chart ‘As-is’ and ‘To-be’ to illustrate what I want to achieve.
This will not be too much work as most of the work is done but I need somebody who is proficient in working with SQL and XML to complete my project. I will only award the task for someone who is able to understand the task in hand and deliver this week.
