SQL System Development and Management

Job ID: 38106960

Budget: £10 – £15 GBP

We are the largest and fastest growing UK charity community delivering support through multiple services via our website. Our website and AI machine learning and GPT are handled by others. We need dev support for the core SQL system and 2 small SQL directories, plus running reports and system admin. We need full stack Microsoft .NET development experience, strong SQL knowledge and exposure to Azure Microsoft services. We require a range of services. We’ll begin with the ad hoc work to begin to build a working relationship and then build that up to the following on an ongoing basis.

• Ad hoc tasks for minor tweaks and changes on an ongoing basis.
• Larger pieces of work, such as creating a moving from a free to a free and premium versions, with upgrading our Help Finder online directory.
• Long term ongoing work to test and validate the core system coding.

We want quality not cheap and we want to work with a company we can trust and work with on a long term basis. We want an hourly fee rate that reflects good quality work and is also competitive, ultimately growing the level of monthly work to circa £1,500, possibly £2,000.
A lot of what is required is basic coding but there will be some need for more senior individuals to be involved.

In terms of working, I would provide detailed specs and be available most days to provide input, if required, with oversight from a senior developer in the UK. Inevitably, there will be urgent responses required at some point, such as the VM stopping but I’d expect that to be fairly rare. However, I would need estimated timelines to work to for my own planning and, whilst I wouldn’t hold anyone rigidly to these, I would need to be made aware of any changes. There needs to be decent quality control and, for an agreement, I would build in the usual boilerplate clauses around IP and data protection.

We are only interested in working with a company with a strong, high quality track record.
