Job Description:
- Install, configure, backup, restore, monitor, and troubleshoot databases.
- Work with users and developers to provide access and guidance on database issues.
- Troubleshoot complex database issues in an accurate and timely manner.
- Create SQL Scripts and stored procedures based on requirements.
- Perform Production deployment of database objects.
- Requires solid understanding of database systems, such as SQL Server, Oracle.
- Hands on experience in database administration tools such as SQL Server Management Studio, Oracle Enterprise Manager.
- Manage Database tuning and security.
- Ensure databases are deployed according to GBS standards and business requirements.
- Able to switch between OLTP and OLAP environments.
- Stay updated with new database technologies and analyze such technologies to bring into scope of existing infrastructure.
