Overview
We are creating a custom multi-user database and Web application for our inventory and assembly management system using SQL Server and Visual Studio C#.
Would like the "breadcrumb" paradigm UI navigation
P3D Production > Management > [Dashboard | Inventory | Assembly | Users] etc.
Multi-user with permissions system to limit access to assigned roles
There are 3 primary UI elements…
Management
Used to maintain and update the inventory list, assembly structure, products, components, fasteners and other materials. Also manage users and permissions.
Assembly
Used by the assembly team to view the assembly priorities, status and detailed work instructions.
Allow assembly team to log time, update started/completed/blocked status of assemblies, add notes to status entries and add general notes to specific assemblies and/or procedures.
Dynamically update inventory as various assembly stages are started and completed.
Include QA instructions for each assembly or stage.
Inventory
Used to report and maintain the status of all components and supplies with respect to standard inventory as well as in-progress assembly status.
Inventory will include individual items for each vendor/version (vendor, part#, URL, notes) and allow for adding records for entry errors caught later.
Back out status of assembly if QA fails or a part needs to be removed.
