Database Administration DBA Resource(s) Needed

We are seeking skilled Database Administrators (DBAs) to support our database systems, focusing on Oracle V11, Postgres v9, and MS SQL Server v12, with a strong emphasis on AWS RDS experience. The ideal candidates will provide ongoing database management and optimization, ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems.

Time Commitment
Initial Onboarding: 1-2 weeks to familiarize with our systems
Ongoing Support: 4-8 hours per week
ADHOC Requests: 2-4 hours, 1-3 times per month (estimate)

AWS RDS experience (Preferred)
Oracle v11 +

AWS RDS experience (Mandatory)
Postgres v9 +

Specific Tasks:
General understanding of the number of databases and their purpose.
How to access the databases.
How backup and restore processes work.
How to determine the health and performance of each database.
Understanding of some of the common tasks that are done for each database.
Proper documentation will be provided after onboarding.
