As a SQL DBA/ Migration Engineer you will be fully engaged in the migration project for
Microsoft SQL Server. Our team works with precision and speed. We are looking for a candidate who is
ready for this challenge.

Job Description
What you will be doing as a SQL DBA / Migration Engineer

Have some 2008 R2 and majority R12 that needs to be upgraded to R19

§ Create Test Database environments to research and solve database upgrades pre-production
upgrade
§ Upgrading current SQL Database to new supported version for Windows Server Migration to
2019
§ Migration of existing Databases to new Windows Servers
§ Restore data and ensure that current databases work as expected
§ Provide expert level support during the migration period
§ To be heavily involved in every aspect of the migration life cycle
What we are looking for in a SQL DBA/Migration Engineer
§ Expertise in upgrades of SQL databases for older versions
§ Ability to work independently and make wise, confident choices

Additional consideration will be given to candidates that show any of the following:
§ Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, SQL, hardware, etc
