Remove similar records in a table or list

I was trying to filter out some records which are similar in a list/table but I'm not finding a better way to do this. If I have 2 tables I would have used fuzzy logic to get the similar records. But I have only one table and I want to locate the similar records (not duplicate), Can some one help me with some approach.
