S7-1500 Recipe Functionality Upgrade
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
My current Siemens S7-1500 program already handles basic recipe selection, but the plant is moving to fully tracked, batched production and I need the software to grow with us. The goal is to inject completely new functionality—not merely tweak what is there.
What must be added
• Batch-control automation: create the logic that sequences each recipe run as a true batch, including start/hold/abort handling and batch-ID generation.
• Data logging: capture every batch event and recipe parameter, then write it to a CSV or SQL table direct from the PLC (open to your preferred method as long as it is retrievable from the network).
• User-interface enhancements: update the WinCC (TIA Portal) HMI so operators can pick a recipe, see live batch status, and review the logged history without leaving the main screen.
Acceptance will be straightforward: I load the project in TIA Portal V18 with PLCSIM Advanced, run a sample batch, watch the HMI reflect each step, and confirm the log file records the right values and timestamps. Provide clearly commented code and a short hand-over document so future tweaks stay simple.
If you have solid experience with S7-1500, recipe structures, and WinCC design, your expertise will make this upgrade smooth.
