Oracle Backend Automation POC Development

Project Description
I am currently using a Java/IntelliJ-based automation framework to validate backend processes in an Oracle system.
I would like to build a small Proof of Concept (POC) using a modern tool (such as Playwright, QA Assure, or similar) to evaluate whether it is simpler and more maintainable than our current setup.
This POC will be presented internally to the business to support a tooling decision.
Scope of Work
The POC should demonstrate:
• Connecting to an Oracle database
• Running SQL queries
• Inserting test data into tables
• Executing PL/SQL procedures (with IN/OUT parameters)
• Validating data across multiple tables
• Clear and maintainable test structure
No complex UI automation required — focus is backend/database validation.
Deliverables
• Working POC project
• Setup instructions
• Brief explanation of architecture and why this approach is suitable
• Summary of benefits compared to a custom Java framework
Ideal Candidate
• Strong Oracle SQL / PL/SQL experience
• Experience in backend automation
• Experience with Playwright, QA Assure, or similar tools
• Ability to clearly explain design decisions
