Manual QA Tester for Webapp
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I’m looking for a seasoned manual tester to put our customer-facing web application through its paces. Your focus will be on functional, usability, and compatibility coverage while validating data accuracy with targeted SQL queries against the live database.
Here’s the flow I have in mind: build concise test cases, execute them across modern browsers, and log each defect in Jira with crystal-clear steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, screenshots or video, and any supporting SQL evidence. An analytical eye that spots edge-case failures is more important than sheer speed.
When you respond, highlight previous web-application projects you’ve tested, the databases you queried with SQL, and any QA toolchain you rely on—those real-world examples help me gauge fit quickly.
Deliverables
• Full set of executed test cases covering the agreed scope
• Daily defect reports in Jira, fully documented
• Final test summary detailing coverage, open issues, and recommendations
Acceptance criteria: every critical user path is exercised without high-severity bugs left undiscovered, and all defect tickets include reproduction steps developers can follow effortlessly. If this initial round goes well, I’ll have a steady stream of new modules ready for you to test.
