Layout of SQL database with PowerBI dashboard

Job ID: 37544715

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

(Since the Project is purely presentational, it is unlikely that it will ever be put into operation)
It is necessary to create a SQL database and the appearance that the Project existed in a corporate business environment and functioned there for some time.
It is important to show the working structure. It is important to pursue consistency in naming conventions, relationships, and indexing.
Documentation should align well with the actual code.

Goal: to put it as part of the corporate portfolio.
Create documentation describing the database structure, Excel file format, processes and technologies used.

Project Goal: Create a functional mockup of an analytics dashboard (PowerBI preferred) and a SQL database mockup to display metrics (Financial indexes, various metrics like OIBDA, CAPEX, NPV, payback period etc.).

The data mockup does not require a real connection to Oracle or other real data sources. It needs to reflect the appearance that the project existed in a corporate business environment and functioned there for some time.

Task: develop a SQL database mockup to store fictional data representing the profitability of investment projects. (Datasets can be taken from kaggle or from chatgpt as the confidential data could not be provided)

Define table structure considering "imaginery" metrics for evaluating the profitability of projects.
Provide SQL script to create the data layout.

PowerBI Integration:

-Provide a blank or sample file to import into PowerBI containing "dummy" data.

(*Provide the ability to use the data from the SQL layout locally in PowerBI)

Dashboard in PowerBI:

Generate a dashboard in PowerBI visualizing the layout of metrics (specific metrics) and indicators:

-Total Cost of Projects.

-ROI (Return on Investment) for each project.

-NPV (Net Present Value) for each fictional investment initiative.

-Recovery period for fictional projects.

User Interface:

-Provide sample dashboard screenshots.

-Provide the ability to interact interactively with the dashboard layout.

Documentation:

-Create documentation describing the database layout, table structure, and fictional data.

-Provide a description of the dashboard layout, including parameters and filters.

Testing:

-Provide sample SQL test queries to verify the performance of the database layout.

-Check that the dashboard layout displays correctly in POWERBI.

Presentation on GitHub:

-Realize the layout so that it is correctly displayed on GitHub.

Note:

Utilize fictitious data and information to create a mockup that effectively demonstrates the project's functionality in the portfolio.
