Power BI Developer Needed for Live SQL Data Dashboard

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Power BI freelancer to build a live, interactive dashboard connected to our SQL database. The dashboard will showcase key performance metrics with real-time or scheduled refresh capability.

Responsibilities:
Connect Power BI to our SQL Server (cloud or on-prem).
Build and optimize queries and data models.
Design dynamic visuals: charts, graphs, slicers, and drill-throughs.
Ensure a user-friendly and visually appealing dashboard layout.
Set up data refresh schedules or live connections as needed.
Optimize performance and load times.

Requirements:
Proven experience building Power BI dashboards.
Strong SQL skills (joins, aggregations, views).
Proficiency in DAX.
Good eye for design, layout, and usability.
Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

Experience in business reporting/analytics.

Portfolio or sample dashboards (if available).
