Import Call MetaData from XML to SQL

Job ID: 38039628

Budget: $250 – $750 CAD

*context*

This is an export of a call recording system by mitel. We are moving out of the platform and wish to retain historical call recordings.

Goal is to be able to quickly search and narrow down a result if we get a request for a old call recording.

If all the XML data is inside a SQL database than we can write queries to narrow our results and ideally path to the exact MP3 file to play.

I require a specialist to design, build and implement a system to batch import XML data containing specific call recording metadata into a SQL database. The required data points are:

- Caller ID
- Call duration
- Call start time
- Internal employee on call

Specialists should possess expert knowledge and experience in handling XML and SQL databases, with an ability to read and interpret XML data structure and write necessary SQL queries/scripts.

In addition, I need you to provide a script or process to upload future XML files easily and independently going forward.

An ideal freelancer for this project would have:

- Proficiency in XML and SQL
- Experience with call recording metadata strongly preferred
- Good understanding of database design and management
- Ability to deliver the project within a month

I am open to discussing the budget for the service, but I am mainly focused on quality and efficiency. If you meet the requirements, I look forward to discussing this project with you.

Attached an example of a XML document. the filename of the document has a corrosponding .mp3 file in the same folder.

Screenshot also of the general file/folder structure.
