Ignition SCADA Visualization & Alarms
Budget: $8 – $15 CAD
I need an experienced Ignition developer who can jump straight into two clear areas of my SCADA project: rich data-driven visualisation and robust alarm configuration.
Data visualisation scope
The screens must draw directly from our SQL databases and a handful of real-time sensor tags already exposed in Ignition. I will provide the queries and OPC tag paths; your job is to turn that information into intuitive front-end elements: line, bar and pie charts for live KPIs, tabular reports for historical trending, plus a set of data-entry forms to let operators create and edit production recipes. Everything has to feel cohesive inside Perspective and respect our existing colour palette.
Alarm configuration scope
In parallel, I need help setting up alarm conditions on key process variables, defining limits, messages and priorities, then routing notifications through email and SMS pipelines that are already licensed but not yet wired up. I want a clean alarm journal and an easy-to-read summary dashboard that operators can acknowledge from desktop or mobile.
Deliverables
• Perspective views containing all requested charts, tables and recipe forms
• Fully documented alarm definitions, pipelines and notification settings
• Packaged project export (.zip) and a short hand-off video or call explaining how to maintain what you built
Acceptance criteria
Your work will be considered complete once the screens load without errors, charts update in real time from both SQL and sensor tags, recipe changes persist correctly, and test alarms reach the right recipients with acknowledge/clear feedback flowing back to the SCADA.
