Extract embedded documents/files from MSSQL (varbinary) database
Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP
We use Q-Pulse QMS and files are embedded into a MS SQL 2017 database. They are divided into draft, approved, inactive and obsolete. We need to be able to export all approved documents (mainly PDF, with some Word, Excel, and image files mixed in) as a regular scheduled task, so we will need the script(s) for weekly or daily export.
I have a copy of the Training database, which is structurally identical to the live database and contains nothing sensitive, and I also have some information on file names relative to draft, approved, inactive and obsolete, and at least some of the table and field names that are required to complete this.
Ideally, after the first export, further exports should be anything new/changed rather than everything.
Happy to provide more information as necessary and discuss.
Thanks for looking !
