EPIC Report Breakdown
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
This is a preliminary request to see what kind of skills are out there - specifically programmers who have experience with the EPIC EHR system. The task at hand is as follows:
(1) - Create a specialized template in EPIC that mimics the one that we have developed externally. This template contains radio buttons and check boxes mostly - no write-in text at this point. It has about 85 questions.
(2) - When the user of this template is speaking to the patient, they will fill in the answers as given by the patient.
(3) - After the template is completed, we need a way to extract the data from this template into a .CSV structure that will be imported later into a SQL server table. This is the tricky part and will probably require some creative programming. There may be an easy way to do this or possibly the template can be printed out and/or saved and then a program can break it down into discrete data points.
(4) - The end goal is to get the data from the template into some form of structured data as in .CSV, .XLS etc so it can be imported into a SQL table on our servers. The structured data needs to have the patient ID and demographics included so we know who this data belongs to.
