Data Analyst for the US Healthcare market

We are searching for a highly-skilled Healthcare Data Analyst to join a fast-paced start-up team.
As the Healthcare Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of the health data platform. The data platform will be used by one of the leading healthcare providers to support operational, analytical, and strategic objectives.
In this role, you will spend the bulk of your time gathering, organizing, and analyzing information from various health data sources. These may include machine-generated provider and patient data, eligibility, and site and services data, among others.
Responsibilities
- Understanding and analyzing healthcare data (like Epic, ICD10, pharmacy, occupational health) from different sources
- Documenting data dictionary for different datasets
- Data cleansing, linkage, analysis, validation, manipulation, reporting, and visualization using SQL, Excel, or some other tool
- Working closely with the project leads to delivering data solutions to the client
- Working knowledge and understanding of US Healthcare datasets and systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in quantitative or engineering fields (Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Health/Medical Informatics, Computer Science, or similar)
- 3+ years of experience working with healthcare data paired with a passion to connect with, understand and shape the healthcare industry
- Proficiency in SQL (Postgres, Oracle)
- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities
- Outstanding problem solver
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter, capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- (Desirable) Experience working with healthcare plans or providers
