I have to write up the results section for a research paper. Only 3 pages all the information is provided and highlighted.
RESULTS SECTION (Approximately 3 pages)
Report the findings about the data.
A. Descriptive/Univariate Analyses (Analyze the variables one at a time)
Results of descriptive analyses for ALL variables; for nominal or ordinal level variables, present frequency and frequency percent distributions (used valid percent, not counting missing numbers in calculating percentages); for interval or ratio level variables, present mean, standard deviation, and range (minimum and maximum). Need to report all statistics in writing and not just shown in output tables.
B. Bivariate Analyses (finding the relationship between 2 variables):
1. Correlations: 1 Correlation
a. Cross-tabulation test (both variables are nominal/ordinal levels), report percentage distribution pattern, what is Pearson Chi Square value, level of significance (p-level), your interpretation of the findings.
