I need spss data analysis, interpretation, explanation of results, justification of statistical result choice result section write up and presentation in graphs and tables

the effects of a independent variable with 2 levels which a result of a mood questionaire split into 2 groups of high and low. all scores below 8 are grouped at low and all scores above 8 are grouped at high. The dependent variable ranges from -0.67 to +0.67. I need to know the difference between the two groups. I need the appropriate statistical test to be run on SPSS, with the write up of the results section including visualisation of outcome (e.g. difference between both groups in graphs and tables), write up of results in APA 7, and explanation of how the procedure was run in addition for a justification of why the test was chosen.
