The research question is: what is the association between newly qualified doctors' preparedness for clinical practice and their sense of professional identity?
I have carried out a questionnaire that has two components: professional identity and preparedness for clinical practice. I used a validated questionnaire for professional identity with minor adaptations (9 questions in a 5 point Likert Scale) , and a questionnaire I wrote for preparedness for clinical practice (8 domains with 3 questions for each domain, again using a 5 point Likert scale).
Essentially I'm looking to see if there is any association between professional identity formation , demographic details and level of preparedness across domains of clinical practice.
Response rate = 34 participants
I’m not sure how to get the most out of the data, test reliability / validity or how to analyse it. I have the data in spss ready for analysis
