Gender: 0 = Female, 1 = Male

Type of Therapy: 1 = Cognitive Therapy, 2 = Control (No Therapy)


After performing the appropriate test of significance, you must include the following in your report:
A research question for the project
The Null hypothesis
How data was collected
Sample size
Descriptive statistics by gender (i.e., means and standard deviations)
Why the test of equality of variance was performed and the result
Why the test of equality of means was performed and the result
The range of the 95% Confidence Interval for the difference in means
A concise statement stating the result of the equality of means (conclusion)
Include a table and graph to provide illumination for gender differences in depression scores and determine if weight gain is a function of the type of therapy (it does not matter whether the difference in depression scores and weight gain are significant or not).
Your report should be between 2 – 3 pages, double spaced, with a font size of 12” and Times New Roman style (the written report must include a cover page).
The report must include technical details:
Sample size
Means and standard deviations
Degrees of freedom
Test Statistics
P-values
Confidence intervals (95%)
