Quantitative PhD Data Analysis
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
As a PhD candidate, I'm in need of a skilled freelancer to assist with analyzing my quantitative data. Here's what you need to know:
- Objective: The primary goal of this task is to generate insights and recommendations from my data.
- Data Type: The project involves rigorous examination of quantitative data collected through my research.
- Analysis Technique: Descriptive analysis is the preferred method to accomplish this task.
Ideal Skill and Experience:
To succeed, you'll need applied knowledge and experience in data analysis, specifically descriptive analysis of quantitative data. Prior work on academic or research projects will be a boon.
PLEASE READ THE PROTOCOL ON THE REQUIRED DATA ANALYSIS
The survey's quantitative data analysis will be conducted using Statistical Package of Social Science (SPSS) to calculate the descriptive statisticsQuantitative data obtained through Qualtrics will be downloaded from the software, and the researcher will do a manual data entry from the paper-based questionnaires. This data will then be cleaned and checked to determine consistency and correctness and stored in a different file from the raw data. . Univariate descriptive statistics will analyse singular variables such as participants' age, years of training, and experience associated with implementing psychotherapy by MHN. This will be achieved by calculating the measures of central tendency and dispersion of data to determine the standard deviation and coefficient of variance (Antonius & Core, 2013). Student t-tests will be used to compare the association between outcome and binary exposure variables. The bivariate analysis will be conducted using contingency tables and a chi-test for any significant variable associated with the implementation of psychotherapy by MHN, and a p-value of 0.05 will be considered statistically significant. Independent variables significantly linked with factors influencing the implementation of psychotherapy by the MHN in the bivariate analysis will undergo additional analysis using logic regression.
