Data Analytics Coursework with Tableau
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I need a freelancer who's proficient at data analytics, specifically in data visualization. They should have solid experience with Tableau, as it's the main tool to be used for this coursework.
The task description is below:
You MUST use the assessment database (your tutor will provide the name for this database).
You MUST use some external data too.
You MUST use Tableau.
Create a video 8-10 min presentation.
The accompanying report must not exceed 600 words in total.
The DBA was impressed with your work and suggested that you prepare a presentation and an accompanying report with some of your findings for the board of directors of Tior Gaming.
Your presentation must cater to people who have little to no technical knowledge and no IT background.
Section 1: Dashboard
This part of the presentation must include a dashboard with three visualisations.
All the data on these three visualisations must come from the assessment database (your tutor will provide the name for this database) and you must decide, which three visualisations you will create and why. You are allowed to visualise your queries from Part 2.
You must use Tableau to create your dashboard.
You can create more than three visualisations, but they will not get extra marks.
Section 2: Forecasting
In every presentation, a good story needs to end with either some cheerful note or a prediction for the future. Given the fact that you present to the board of directors, your DBA suggests that you take the 3-5 final minutes in the presentation and discuss future gaming trends in the finance market.
For this part, you must create a storyboard with two visualisations — completely different to Part 1.
You must include data from the assessment database (your tutor will provide the name for this database). AND external data. Feel free to use any external sources — they need to be referenced. You are given full freedom to blend, or not, the two data sources.
Both visualisations must predict something useful and reasonable for the future and for that, you must use the forecasting Tableau tools. You are given full freedom as to what. Some suggestions may include but are not limited to: PC vs console gaming sales, gaming sales trends, user experience based on different factors, the popularity of a game during covid19 etc.
You must use Tableau to create your visualisations.
You can create more than two visualisations, but they will not get extra marks.
