Upgrade Java & Spring Boot
Budget: ₹1,250 – ₹2,500 INR
Our production stack still runs on Java 11 with Spring Boot 2.1, and it’s time for a full jump to Java 25 and Spring Boot 3.5.5. I need the upgrade handled end-to-end with zero downtime and no regressions—especially across our database connections, REST API endpoints, and user-authentication flow.
Here’s what has to happen:
• Update the build files and dependency tree so the project compiles cleanly on the new JDK and Spring Boot version.
• Resolve breaking-change issues introduced anywhere between 2.1 → 3.5.5, including third-party starters.
• Refactor or replace deprecated APIs while preserving existing behaviour.
• Verify the data layer, all API endpoints, and auth logic through automated and manual tests.
• Adjust Docker image, CI/CD pipeline, and deployment scripts to target the new runtime.
• Provide a concise migration report describing code changes, library upgrades, and any follow-up recommendations.
If you’ve already taken applications from 11/2.x to the latest LTS lines, I’d like to see that experience in action.
