Spring Boot JWT REST API
Budget: ₹250,000 – ₹500,000 INR
I need a production-ready RESTful backend built with Java Spring Boot that covers the full user lifecycle. Authentication must rely on Spring Security with JWT tokens, supporting two clear roles—Admin and regular user. Once signed in, both roles should access endpoints protected by role-based authorization rules.
The API must expose the complete CRUD suite (Create, Read, Update, Delete) and persist everything in a MySQL database that stores user information and roles. Please model the schema so it can be expanded later without data migrations.
Clean, readable code is essential: follow SOLID, layer the project (controller, service, repository), and annotate everything with Swagger / OpenAPI so I can explore endpoints instantly. Every business method should be covered by unit tests (JUnit 5 and Mockito are fine).
Deliverables
• Full Maven/Gradle project with source code
• MySQL schema & migration scripts
• Generated Swagger/OpenAPI documentation
• Step-by-step deployment guide (local and cloud)
• Test report or coverage summary
I will review the code style, run the tests, and launch the service from the guide; once those checks pass, the milestone is complete.
