Spring Boot Employee Management System

I’m putting together a basic Spring Boot application that demonstrates a complete yet lightweight Employee Management System. For this first phase I only need a simple, working prototype so keep the build lean and easy to extend later.

Scope
• Core modules: employee record CRUD, daily attendance logging, and a rudimentary payroll calculator.
• Two user roles—Admin and Employee—with the usual authentication and role-based access control.
• A placeholder integration point that can push or pull data from a generic HR system (a REST client or well-documented interface is enough for now).

Technical notes
– Stack: Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Maven/Gradle, MySQL or H2 for quick setup.
– Clean code, layered architecture, and concise README with run/build steps.
– Deliver the full source in a Git repo or zipped project plus a short video or screenshots proving the three modules work.

This is a small starter build, so focus on getting the essentials running smoothly rather than polishing every edge case.
