Spring Boot API Development

I need a Java-based backend built with Spring Boot that delivers a set of brand-new RESTful APIs tied to a MySQL database. Your main goal is to craft clean, maintainable endpoints and wire them up with Spring Data JPA for straightforward CRUD functionality.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
• A concise API blueprint covering routes, request/response models, and error handling.
• Implementation of the endpoints in Spring Boot using Hibernate/Spring Data JPA.
• Connection to an existing MySQL schema (I’ll share credentials and table structure).
• Basic unit tests plus clear in-code comments so future changes are easy.
Once the core routes are running, I’ll test them with Postman; any critical fixes uncovered during that round are part of the job. Performance tuning beyond obvious bottlenecks is a nice-to-have but not the primary focus.
