REST API Development in Java

I need an experienced developer to add and modify endpoints on our existing Java (Spring) REST APIs. The authentication method used is JWT.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product) to deliver high-quality features.
Implement microservices, RESTful APIs, and backend services.
Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and optimise queries for performance.

Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and optimised for performance.

Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of hands-on Java development experience.
Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOPs concepts, and data structures.
Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA.
Proficiency with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
Experience with MySQL.
Familiarity with version control tools like Git. Understanding of CI/CD and cloud services (AWS) is a plus.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
